NTD's Lee Hall sits down with Conservative peer Daniel Moylan who is concerned about the upcoming Online Safety Bill set to be signed into law this year.
The bill transfers powers from the government to a regulator who can require WhatsApp, iMessage and Signal to to scan people's public and private messages.
Whatsapp and Signal have already said they may leave Britain rather than create a backdoor in their end-to-end encryption.
The bill also threatens Wikipedia and in particular Welsh Wikipedia, the world's biggest Welsh language website.

After hearing from her daughter about the sex education lessons at school, Clare found the company providing the lessons had links on their lesson website to adult content including pornography.
Clare took legal action and is fighting for parents' rights to know what their children are being taught in school.
